Typical tasks and responsibilities: To keep parishioners informed and generating their support, on critical issues affecting the protection of God-given life from conception through natural death by:
- Attending update meetings at St. Mary, Diocese Pastoral Center, other parishes, and sometimes in private homes.
- Distributing postcards after Mass and at Agape for mailing to legislators requesting their support for life.
- Attending occasional diocesan, parish and prayer meetings.
- Providing alert letters on pending legislation and scientific discoveries/results.
Required training or skills: None, except a genuine love of life as a gift of God in everyone.
Approximate time commitment: On average, one hour per month.
Location: Primarily, St. Mary’s.
